Job Opportunity: Program Driver at TechnoServe (Nairobi)

Position: Program Driver
Location: Nairobi, with travel to program activity sites
Reports to: Program Assistant
Application review: Rolling basis

Role Overview:
TechnoServe is seeking a Program Driver to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transport services for staff, partners, and visitors. The role also includes vehicle care, compliance with safety standards, and logistical support for program activities in Nairobi and field locations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Safely transport staff, consultants, and partners to meetings, trainings, and field assignments.
• Support program logistics, including workshops and errands.
• Maintain vehicles in excellent condition and ensure compliance with statutory and safety requirements.
• Keep accurate transport records (logbook, mileage, fuel).

Qualifications:
• KCSE certificate.
• Valid and clean driving license (Class BCE).
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Minimum 5 years’ professional driving experience (NGOs or corporates preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Nairobi routes and Kenyan traffic laws.
• Basic vehicle mechanics and preventive maintenance skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, and strong service orientation.
